Class Descriptions
Mat Pilates
This class integrates the STOTT Pilates repertoire. It focuses on strength, flexibility and endurance exercises on the mat with a focus on core stability, including pelvic and shoulder girdle stabilization, neutral alignment and breathing. It helps to restore the natural curves of the spine, relieve tension and enhance self-confidence. The result: a balanced and aligned body that looks fit feels revitalized and moves with ease.
Restorative Pilates
Pilates with focus restoring the body to its proper alignment via stretching and strengthening at the barre, mat, and wall in order to promote optimal movement and reduce pain.
Barre Fusion
An anatomical approach of correct alignment of position and movement execution at the barre, and with balance poles designed to achieve maximum muscle strength and agility, along with muscle tone and elongation. It combines the methods of ballet, yoga and Pilates, in conjunction with the principles of isometric stretching and core conditioning without high repetition. It creates defined body change and peak fitness.
Ballet Barre
The dancers approach to barre work (and you don't have to be one). Ballet exercises designed to strengthen the legs hips and feet with lots of poise posture and core control. Truly invigorating, it makes you feel beautiful from the inside out!
Fusion Mix
The class combines the best of two staple classes, mat Pilates and Barre Fusion. A roller is added into the mix in order to provide muscle release and heightened core stabilization. It will awaken your muscles with powerful stretching, strengthening and muscle tension release. A great way to start the day!
